By Not so long ago, Chevrolet presented an all-electric version of its popular pickup Silverado. So, it was just a matter of time before GMC will introduce the corporal twin. That model has finally come and we can now see the brand-new all-electric Sierra, in its most prestigious variant, with the famous Denali badge. Moreover, the first version to come is the 2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV Edition 1, which comes with the most capable setup and is the most luxurious version of the pickup. The “standard” should arrive soon after and it will probably feature a little bit less power and a few more differences.
In any case, the all-electric Sierra will have a lot of great things to offer, starting from a couple of very impressive powertrain configurations, a luxurious cabin, a stylish design and many more. The 2024 Sierra Denali EV Edition 1 will come first and it will come with a six-figure price.
2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV Design
The 2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV Edition1 is the first version of the all-electric Sierra. As you may presume, many things are in common with the recently-introduced Silverado EV. The two models share the platform, as well as the battery technology. However, this particular version, with the Denali badge, comes with a little bit more refined suspension setup, which provides a smoother and more comfortable ride.
Of course, the Sierra will once again come with a more upscale design approach compared to Silverado. Chevy’s pickup is designed to be approachable and even comes in some pretty basic variants. On the other hand, the Sierra comes with a significantly different styling, which includes a lot of classic GMC elements. When it comes to battery, we count on a 200-kWh setup, which should ensure up to 400 miles of range. Also, you may count on impressive charging speeds of up to 350 kW with a DC charger, which will be able to add 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV Release Date and Price
The initial version, the 2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV Edition 1 is almost ready for its launch and we know it will cost around 108.500 dollars. More basic versions will come later and, of course, it will be much more affordable.
