The GMC Sierra has just received an update and the company brought some pretty interesting novelties across the range. This includes the novelties that were brought with the range-topping Denali trim, which has always been the pinnacle version of GMC models. Considering the updates, it’s quite easy to conclude that the next year, when we are about to see the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali, probably won’t feature any important update. We are about to see a familiar layout, with pretty much the same list of exclusive features and design solutions.
All this means that you may count on a pickup truck that competes in the luxury segment, as it offers a full load of standard equipment, which doesn’t just include lots of tech goodies. There is a bunch of premium features like unique styling details, exclusive interior materials and color schemes etc. On the other hand, the mechanical aspect of the vehicle isn’t much different than the rest of the lineup.
Since no bigger changes are planned for the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali, we presume it will hit the market sometime late in 2022.
2023 GMC Sierra Denali Design
The 2023 GMC Sierra Denali will carry on in the same way, with all those exclusive features. Also, keep in mind that this model has just received an update and that it now features a new styling. It brings a more aggressive front-end design, along with new wheels, color options etc. When it comes to exclusive styling features, one of the first things that come to mind is a massive chrome grille at the front. There are also unique wheels, as well as a lot of chrome around the truck, which accentuates the model’s luxury character.
Mechanically, the Sierra Denali isn’t much different than more basic models. Still, it comes with adaptive suspension, which has a big impact on comfort and handling. Furthermore, versions with four-wheel-drive come with a two-speed transfer case. This makes Denali not just luxurious, but also quite capable off the road.
The number of exclusive details is big on the inside as well. First of all, keep in mind the recent update, which has brought a completely new dashboard design, with new aesthetics, nicer materials and lots of tech features. The 2023 GMC Sierra Denali will continue in the same way, and that refers to exclusive features as well. There is a unique steering wheel, unique color schemes and a long list of standard equipment. Some of the highlights are things like a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 13.4-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, power-sliding rear window etc.
The recent update has also brought a new, even more, upscale trim called Denali Ultimate. This model comes with a couple more exclusive features, such as leather-wrapped surfaces, open-pore wood, standard Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system etc.
2023 GMC Sierra Denali Engines
The 2023 GMC Sierra Denali will continue with familiar engine options on the offer. So, base versions will come with a 5.3-liter V8, which puts out around 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. For those who are looking for something more capable, there is a 6.2-liter V8. This one puts out around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Also, you can get this version with a diesel engine. This one comes with a familiar 3.0-liter V6, which puts out around 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This version is both capable and efficient, as fuel economy is way better compared to gasoline-powered variants. In numbers, that would be around 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, which is impressive for a half-ton pickup.
2023 GMC Sierra Denali Release Date and Price
Since bigger changes probably won’t happen, we believe that the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of 2022. The base Denali should cost around 59.000 dollars, while the Denali Ultimate is about to go around $80.000. Key competitors will be models like Ford F-150 Platinum, Ram 1500 Limited etc.
