The new generation of the world’s most popular pickup truck has just been released and as it was expected, it has brought evolutionary changes only. The new model debuted for the 2021 mode year and the 2023 Ford F-150 feels too early for any significant changes. Most likely, we will see a familiar layout, with minor tweaks regarding features and equipment groups only. On the other hand, the mechanical aspect of the truck should remain the same.

On the other hand, this could finally be the year for the launch of the all-electric version. At this point, we know that this pickup is under development and according to the latest reports, it will be ready for the next year. We are still waiting for the officials to learn more about this pickup.

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2023 Ford F-150 is expected to be a typical carry over model. The current generation has just arrived and it has brought further improvements to the truck’s aluminum and HSS lightweight design. So, the best we could see from the next year’s model is a few additions to the list of standard and available equipment.

The overall layout will remain the same and the 2023 Ford F-150 will continue in familiar configurations. To remind you, this pickup can come in numerous variants, starting from three cab layouts – Regular, Super Cab and SuperCrew. Also, there are two, 6.5- or 8-foot beds for the Regular and Super Cab models, while the Super Crew comes with either 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed.

Trim Levels

Of course, the trim-level organization will remain the same. The offer will start with the XL trim, which is cheap and pretty basic in terms of standard equipment. This model comes standard with steel wheels, manual accessories, cloth upholstery, 8-inch touchscreen etc. Also, safety features like a rearview camera, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and the forward automatic emergency braking are standard.

The XLT brings a couple of upgrades. Some of the highlights are things like power windows and door locks, lane keep assist, rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and cross traffic alert.

The Lariat is a mid-level option, which offers a decent amount of features for the money. It comes standard with goodies like leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, remote start, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch touch screen.
