By The Blue Oval company brings a completely new generation of the Super Duty pickup series for the 2023 model year. Changes are numerous in all aspects, which indicates that the 2024 Ford Super Duty, which will represent the second production year of the generation, will most likely carry on without more important updates. We expect t see a familiar design, with minor updates only.
All this means that you may count all the improvements that came with the recent redesign. There are three very capable engine options, as well as an impressive range of configuration possibilities. The cabin is spacious and well-equipped, and the new look makes the truck very appealing.
Considering that we are talking about the second production year, which usually brings no significant updates, the launch date should happen sometime late in the year.
2024 Ford Super Duty Design

Of course, you may count on familiar configurations regarding cab styles and bed sizes. There are three familiar cab styles on offer – Regular Cab, Super Cab and Crew Cab, as well as two-bed sizes – 6.75-foot and 8-foot bed. Speaking of the customization, it’s worth mentioning that there are seven grille choices in total.
Interior
On the inside, you may count on the same, recently upgraded cabin design, which looks very nice not. The aesthetics are nice, and we also like the selection of materials. Higher trim levels can look pretty luxurious, especially when equipped with advanced tech features such as a larger touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, premium audio system etc.
Besides quality and luxury feel, the 2024 Ford Super Duty will also offer plenty of passenger space. Of course, Regular Cab models feature just one row of seats, which offers nearly 44 inches of legroom. The Super Cab version offers the same level of comfort at the front, while the second row is quite useful too, with more than 33 inches of legroom. Finally, there is the Crew Cab model that offers more than 40 inches of legroom in the second row and accommodates adults in a nice fashion.
Trim Levels and Features
This aspect remained the same after the redesign, so you may count on the familiar organization of equipment groups. Of course, the offer will start with the XL trim, which includes essential features only. The XLT adds a few convenience and tech features, while the Lariat trim once again represents the best-balanced choice, with plenty of standard equipment for the price. The King Ranch brings exclusive styling details and more features, while Limited and Platinum make the truck look very luxurious.
The company also introduced the Tremor Off-Road package, which adds several off-road features, such as selectable off-road modes, lifted suspension, 35-inch tires, and a Dana front axle.
2024 Ford Super Duty Engines
The engine lineup of the 2024 Ford Super Duty will consist of three engine options. The good-old 6.2-liter V8 has been replaced and the offer now starts with the new 6.8-liter V8, which puts out around 400 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. If you need more low-end power and torque, there is the optional 7.3-liter V8, which puts out 430 horses and 485 lb-ft of the max twist.
Finally, there is the well-known, super-capable 6.7-liter turbodiesel, now available in two output variants. The base variant of the engine puts out around 475 horsepower and 1.050 pound-feet of torque, while the high-output variant comes with an upgraded turbocharger and pa uts out a pretty impressive 500 horsepower and 1.200 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, the F-350 should be able to tow up to 40.000 pounds.
All engines come coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Ford Super Duty Release Date and Price
We expect that the 2024 Ford Super Duty will arrive sometime late in the year with a starting price of around 45.000 dollars. Of course, HD variants of Chevy Silverado and RAM trucks will remain the key competitors.
