2019 Nissan Titan Warrior price and release date

1

It’s been a while since the Warrior concept was presented. Ever since the debut of this mighty off-road truck, we are expecting the production model. It seems the time has finally come after three years. The 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior will be the first appearance of this pickup built on the Titan XD model.

The new truck shares some things with its base version. On the other side, it upgrades almost all. The exterior is bolder, more distinctive, with unique parts. Interior is going to be reconstructed. Highlights of the concept model that debuted back in 2016 are out of date now. For 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior designers need to upgrade most of the systems that we were during NAIAS 2016.

Finally, the engine room is the most interesting segment. Huge diesel displacement will put out 555 lb-ft. Since the 2019 Titan Warrior is going to belong to a class between full-size trucks and heavy-duty pickups, it will be the mightier than its smaller siblings. Towing capacity will benefit from this twisting power the most.

2019 Nissan Titan Warrior Release Date

The new Nissan Titan for the next season is not available in dealerships yet. When it, and its bigger sibling Titan XD, arrives, we can expect the Warrior as well. In the matter of fact, the new 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior could be the major addition for the upcoming season. The Japanese company will wait for the end of 2018, or first months of 2019, to announce the new truck. Then we have the biggest automotive shows in the world in LA and Detroit.

Whatsoever, the company still needs to confirm rumors. But again, Nissan don’t want to spoil the surprise and unveil too much before the big arrival. Furthermore, the vehicle is not 100% ready yet, so announcing it, and then delaying would make a huge damage to Nissan’s reputation. They can’t allow this to happen, especially with competition being bigger than ever.

Competition

The new 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior, thanks to its characteristics and specs, won’t have too much competition. First of all, it is not a heavy-duty truck, but the XD is bigger than full-size models. It is closer to half-tone segment. No other pickup in this section can’t match 555 hp produced by its turbodiesel engine. Chevy, Ford, and Ram are launching their diesel units next season, but all of them are offering 440-450 pound-feet. There are rumors saying the FCA could come out with a Ram 2000 truck, as the vehicle between Ram 1500 and Ram 2500.

If we take the purpose, so far, the most potent off-road full-size pickup truck is Ford F-150 Raptor. Ram is preparing Rebel TRX model, and Chevy could launch Silverado 1500 ZR2 trim level. Toyota Tundra with TRD Pro package is impressive, but it still falls behind the new 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior.

2019 Nissan Titan Warrior Specs

As we mentioned, the torque of the 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior will be the main highlight and advantage. What does produce so much twist? It is a 5.0-liter turbodiesel unit, the same one we can find on the Titan XD. For the Warrior concept, it adds 310 hp. For example, upcoming full-size diesel trucks will make around 250 horsepower. The Cummins engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The truck is specialized for an off-road drive. Various parts are improving already great skills the regular Nissan Titan XD can offer. As the company called it, the “modern armor” is making the truck tougher and resistant to hits. A skidplate is part of the grille. All-terrain tires are wrapping 18-inch custom wheels.

Highlights

This “modern armor” is not only functional but also stylish. It boosts aggressiveness of the 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior. Machine and robotic appearance are definitely eye-catching. However, the interior is holding more highlights that will take our breath away. Orange accents and details will draw the attention. The custom steering wheel and other parts of the command panel are unique.

Also, a 7-inch touchscreen display perfectly fits into a luxurious interior. Well, the production model could get even the larger one. Navigation and rear-view camera are standard. All will be transparent on the new screen. Few USB ports should improve the connectivity. There are no words about it, but we are sure the 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior will come with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, other services are also possible, such as MirrorLink, or Waze.

2019 Nissan Titan Warrior Price

Finally – the price. Standard Titan truck costs from $33,000. However, we still don’t have official updates for 2019 season. In the previous year, the base Titan XD carried a price tag of $44,000. With numerous upgrades and additions, the 2019 Nissan Titan Warrior price will go over $50,000. That is more than the Ford F-150 Raptor. But, the Warrior pickup is larger and it can tow more. Properly equipped, a regular XD is ready to pull more than 12,000 pounds. The 2019 Titan Warrior will be somewhere between 10k-12k because it could come exclusively with an AWD.

  1. I am counting down till the day it arrives! However, MPG will be an issue. I have the opportunity of having a King Ranch Edition F150 while my Titan was in for a repair and it was not only wonderfully impressive. It got 25 MPG. I would be a liar if I told u that I get more than 10 MPG with the Heavy Chrome Edition V8 Titan.
Styling, however, is everything to me. The Warrior is a Titan on steroids and it’s classy…not trashy!
So, on paper, I am in line for a purchase…..however, Plan B will be the high tech F150……stay tuned…..Dealership owner has Nissan and Ford stores…….so I stay within the same family of support that I appreciate much!
