The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is already in the final phase of development and it is about to arrive in the first half of this year, with a pretty decent number of updates and upgrades. This will be a typical mid-cycle refresh, with novelties in various aspects, starting from the new styling. Furthermore, LTZ and High Country trim levels feature new dual-projector headlights, while the latter will also be offered in the new Midnight Edition, which will be a special appearance package with lots of blacked exterior details.

On the other hand, the 6.6-liter turbodiesel continues with the same 10-speed Allison transmission but gets a notable power upgrade. The max output now goes up to 470 horsepower, which is 25 horses more, while the max torque goes up to 975 pound-feet – 65 more than the current version.

Of course, Ford F-250 and Ram 2500HD will remain the key competitors.
