On the other hand, the 6.6-liter turbodiesel continues with the same 10-speed Allison transmission but gets a notable power upgrade. The max output now goes up to 470 horsepower, which is 25 horses more, while the max torque goes up to 975 pound-feet – 65 more than the current version.

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD will hit the market in the first half of this year. The price is yet to be specified but we presume it will be slightly higher compared to the current model, with the base version starting at around 42.000 dollars. Of course, Ford F-250 and Ram 2500HD will remain the key competitors.
