By The new generation of the Ford Super Duty series is on the way. The Blue Oval company is working on the new version of its capable pickup and of course, one of the most anticipated is the 3/4-ton iteration, known as the F-250. We are about to see a massive redesign, with lots of novelties in various aspects. However, some things are about to remain the same, and that includes the organization of trim levels and equipment groups. Therefore, we are also eagerly waiting to see the 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor, which will once again be the most capable off-roader in the lineup.
This model will also come with tons of novelties, but it will also come with familiar off-road upgrades. Compared to standard versions, this model comes with various off-road hardware, but also with a couple of exclusive styling details. Of course, it shares the powertrain, as well as most of the interior features.

First of all, the 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor will come with all the upgrades and updates that will be introduced in the standard F-250 model. The upcoming redesign is about to bring a lot of novelties, starting from the updated platform, which once again utilizes all kinds of lightweight materials, predominately aluminum and HSS. Of course, this particular model will come with all kinds of upgrades, particularly in terms of the suspension setup and other off-road hardware.
When it comes to the styling, the test mule still wears a camouflage but we are pretty sure that the new F-250 will take a lot of inspiration from the recently redesigned F-150 light-duty pickup. This refers to the front end, as well as to the rest of the vehicle. Of course, the Tremor would come with all kinds of exclusive styling details, such as a revised front fascia, exclusive wheels and similar things. We also expect to see revised bumpers once again, which will provide better approach and departure angles.

Interior
The 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor will benefit from the upcoming redesign a lot and that refers to the interior design as well. Of course, we are about to see a completely new cabin design. Once again, there will be a lot of things in common with the light-duty sibling. This would include the new dashboard design, which would utilize nicer materials and more attractive aesthetics. Furthermore, we expect to see the same massive infotainment screen, along with a digital instrument cluster and many other tech goodies.
The rest of the cabin won’t bring bigger surprises. We are about to see the same layout, though it is still unclear whether the next-generation Tremor is about to carry on as an optional package, or it will be a separate trim level. In the second case, it would probably be offered only in a crew cab layout.

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor may come as a separate trim level or remain an optional package. So, it’s hard to talk about things like comfort and convenience features. On the other hand, we are pretty sure what to expect in terms of off-road features.
Things shouldn’t be much different compared to the outgoing model. So, we count on an upgraded suspension, with off-road components and increased ground clearance. Furthermore, the list of standard equipment should include a locking rear differential, limited-slip front differential, off-road tires, skid plates, off-road running boards, Rock Crawl driving mode, Trail Control and many other things.

Under the hood, things should remain pretty much the same. So, base models would probably carry on with a good-old 6.2-liter V8, which puts out around 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Of course, you may also count on the new 7.3-liter V8, which is good for about 430 horsepower ad 475 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is a 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel, which puts out 475 horsepower and 1.050 pound-feet of torque.
Keep in mind that these are the current numbers, while the next generation may come with some power increase. Currently, the base engine comes with a 6-speed automatic, while the other two come with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the base engine paired with a 10-speed unit after the redesign.

We expect to see the 2023 Ford F-250 Tremor sometime in the second half of the year. The current model is available at around 55.000 dollars. When it comes to the competition, we have no doubt that the Ram Power Wagon will remain the key rival.
