The first variant to come was the pickup truck, while the SUV is expected to arrive sometime in the next year. In the case of the pickup truck, Edition 1 was the version that debuted first, while the rest of the lineup will arrive for the 2023 model year. Of course, the 2023 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 will remain the range-topping version on the offer and we don’t expect to see bigger changes for the second production year.
Therefore, we expect to see familiar design characteristics. This pickup offers a super-capable powertrain, with impressive acceleration and max range. Furthermore, we like the cabin design, along with the generous passenger room. Also, the list of standard equipment is very long.

Design-wise, we don’t expect any bigger change on the 2023 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. The overall layout will remain the same, based on the new Ultium battery technology. The list of standard features also includes goodies like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, GM OnStar telematics system, Wi-Fi hotspot etc. Also, you may count on a full load of driver-assistance features, such as automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, as well as the semi-autonomous driving system known as the Cadillac Super Cruise.
Another thing we like about this cabin is that it features a lot of exclusive details.
