After the last year’s refresh, the Silverado looks way more competitive than before. That update has brought a lot of novelties, starting from the new interior design, refreshed styling, and new tech features as well. Therefore, we are pretty sure that the next year’s model will carry one without bigger changes. This refers to all versions of the pickup, including the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country, which will once again represent the most luxurious version in the model’s range.

Therefore, you may count on a familiar layout. This trim level comes with a lot of exclusive features. It comes with lots of standard equipment regarding comfort and convenience, while the list of standard tech features is also very long. When it comes to the powertrain, you will have a choice between three units, one diesel and two gasoline engines.

We expect that the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Chevy Silverado High Country Design

Design-wise, the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will continue in the same way. The recent update brought some interesting updates, including novelties in terms of exterior styling. You can notice a new front fascia, which makes this pickup look even better than before.

Still, the overall layout remained largely the same. What’s good to know is that this trim level is available in a Crew Cab layout only. On the other hand, it is the only version of Silverado that’s available with optional adaptive suspension, as well as the company’s advanced semi-autonomous driving system, known as the SuperCruise.

No matter if you opt for the adaptive suspension or not, the High Country offers a smooth and comfortable ride. The suspension setup is soft and absorbs road imperfections pretty well.

Interior

After the significant update we saw last year, we have no doubt that the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will continue with the same cabin design. The new interior feels way more impressive in every aspect. The dashboard features a completely new shape, while you can notice a massive use of fine materials. Thanks to the massive infotainment and instrument screens, it looks even more upscale.

Leather upholstery is standard, just like heated seats in both rows. The front seats are also ventilated, which has a big impact on the overall level of comfort. Speaking of comfort, the CrewCab layout is the only one available with this trim and it offers two very generous rows of seats, which accommodate adults with ease.

Features

As we already mentioned, this is the most luxurious version of Silverado. It comes with a long list of standard features. When it comes to convenience, we’ve just mentioned heated and ventilated seats. The list of standard features also includes goodies like a power-operated rear window, side steps, and a spray-on bedliner. Among tech goodies, you can find things like a 13.4-inch touch screen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, wireless device charging, two more USB ports, an integrated trailer brake controller, a power-operated tailgate and many more.

When it comes to safety, the 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will come standard with goodies like GM’s Safety Alert Seat system, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view parking camera system, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, rain-sensing windshield wipers etc.

2023 Chevy Silverado High Country Engines

The 2023 Chevy Silverado High Country will continue with three engine options on the offer. Base models will continue with a 5.3-liter V8, which puts out around 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Driving dynamics are really good but the optional 6.2-liter V8 is even better. This engine puts out around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, there is a diesel version, equipped with a 3.0-liter inline-six. This turbodiesel engine features a max output of 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Besides good performance, it also offers pretty impressive fuel economy, which goes around 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, which is excellent for a full-size pickup.

All engines come in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
