Two years after a complete redesign, the current generation of D-Max continues to marks solid sales numbers all around the world. Of course, the main reason is its quality, but there are few more things. One of them is the model’s range-topping version, which will continue as the 2022 Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain for the next year. We don’t believe it could bring any more important changes but that’s not a big deal at all. Simply, the current model is already pretty impressive in every aspect.

Compared to the standard version, this model comes with all kinds of upgrades. There are few distinctive visual details, along with upgraded suspension and a full load of standard equipment. This doesn’t refer to interior features only, but to a full pack of mechanical upgrades, starting from the standard four-wheel drive, low gearing etc.

As the next year shouldn’t bring more notable upgrades, we presume that the 2022 Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain will hit the market sometime late in the year.

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2022 Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain will continue in a familiar way. Besides numerous distinctive styling details, this version also comes with some pretty serious mechanical upgrades. For example, this is the only model in the lineup that comes standard with a four-wheel drive. Furthermore, you may count on a two-speed transfer case with low-gearing. There is a few more standard feature that has a big impact on off-road capabilities, such as rear locking differential, hill descent control, skid plates etc.
