Therefore, this version won’t be produced in the famous Warren Truck Assembly Plant, but rather in Mexico, along with bigger brothers, 2500 and 3500 HD models. Latest reports suggest that this will happen by the end of the year and that the new model will come as the 2020 Ram 1500 Regular Cab. Until then, the previous-generation Regular Cab version will remain in the offer.
2020 Ram 1500 Regular Cab Design
In terms of base design characteristics, there is no doubt that the new 2020 Ram 1500 Regular Cab will come with all the amazing features that can be found in bigger cab models. 2020 Ram 1500 Regular Cab Engines
One of the interesting novelties that came with this redesign is electrification. The new model may feature familiar engines, but each one comes with eTorque system. It’s not a genuine hybrid system, but rather a system that provides additional power boost and makes start/stop system run smoother. In any case, the 2020 Ram 1500 Regular Cab will come standard with a well-known 3.6-liter V6. This one is good for about 305 horsepower. A bigger 5.7-liter V8 should be in the offer as well. This engine is good for about 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with 8-speed automatic transmission.
Also, we count on a familiar 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel. Will there be a slight power boost, it is still unknown.
