One of the most interesting novelties should be the new 2021 Lordstown Endurance. The Ohio-based company already started to take pre-orders and it looks like the first models will come already in the last quarter of 2020, as the 2021 year models.
2021 Lordstown Endurance Details
One of the most intriguing things about the 2021 Lordstown Endurance is that we don’t know almost any details about it. So far, we have seen just a couple of drawings. There is no news about the possible premiere or any other kind on unveiling. Still, the company claims that the demand for this truck will be very high. At this point, we knot that the starting price will go around 52.500 dollars and that the company is already taking $1000 refundable pre-orders. For comparison, that’s almost 13.000 dollars more compared to the base Tesla Cybertruck, which is expected to go around 39.000 dollars.
Specs are still a mystery?
The thing with this price tag is that we don’t know anything about the new model. At this point, we can hear rumors about a 300-mile electric range. Also, it is quite possible that the 2021 Lordstown Endurance will come with four electric motors, one on each wheel. However, these are all unconfirmed details, as the company is officially still quiet on these details.

Most of the things we actually know about the 2021 Lordstown Endurance are those in terms of the styling. By looking at the rendering photos, you can easily see that the new model will come with accentuated futuristic lines and shapes. The truck looks very muscular from all directions and it looks that truck enthusiasts actually like it very much, definitely much more than the Cybertruck.

As we already mentioned, the company already takes pre-orders and it looks like the first models will arrive already in the last quarter of 2020. For comparison, that’s a full year before we expect to see the Cybertruck. However, it looks like the first models will be reserved for fleet customers.
Electric Pickup Truck Market Is Getting Extremely Hot
The market of electric pickup trucks will soon become extremely crowded. While the Tesla Cybertruck is about to come in late 2021, there are several models that will actually come before it. Besides 2021 Lordstown Endurance, there is also the Rivian R1T, which is almost production-ready. Keep in mind that there is also a promising Neuron EV T-One, while electric versions of the F-150 are also on the way. GM is also working on an all-electric pickup truck, so we may presume that Ram won’t just sit and wait. This segment is going to become very interesting in the near future for sure.
