Okay, we already know that the new HD models from Ram are coming soon. Of course, the 2500 series are first to come. Soon after the launch, we expect arrivals of special versions. Among them, the Power Wagon takes a special place, thanks to its off-road character. The Mojave Sand package is even more exclusive, as it comes with distinctive visual details. Latest reports are suggesting that the new 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Mojave Sand package will come with the same design approach. In practice, this would mean the same mechanics as the standard Power Wagon, along with a list of unique styling solutions.
2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Mojave Sand Design
When it comes to base design characteristics, the 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Mojave Sand package won’t be much different compared to standard Power Wagon. This would mean the implementation of all the new design solution from the upcoming redesign, which includes a new platform, weight savings, new design, and many more things. This particular version will continue to be primarily an off-roader.
That would mean a lot of additional work on chassis, which would include upgrades in terms of new, aggressive all-terrain tires, off-road shock absorbers, tow hooks, skid plates, a manual transfer case, electronically locking front and rear differentials with a 4.10 axle ratio, hill descent control, an integrated front winch and many more. Of course, there are typical Power Wagon visual upgrades, which include unique wheels, blacked exterior, and many more details.
2020 Power Wagon Mojave Sand Exclusive Details
This package also comes with a bunch of exclusive details that can’t be found on other Power Wagon models. We expect from the Power Wagon Mojave Sand to continue in the same way. We still don’t know the exact details, but we count on a lot of interesting details in terms of exterior and interior styling, unique list of standard features, etc. Of course, some of the first things that come to mind are new color options and graphics.
Power Wagon Mojave Sand Engine
We probably won’t see bigger changes under the hood of 2020 Power Wagon Mojave Sand. All HD models should continue with a well-known 6.4-liter V8 unit, including this special version. The engine currently delivers around 410 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Still, we won’t be surprised if we see some a bit of tuning for the next year. Also, some reports suggest that a well-known 6.7-liter turbodiesel from Cummins will be in the offer for this version too. Unfortunately, we still haven’t heard a word from the company on this matter.
Release Date and Price
We presume that the 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with Mojave Sand will come along with the rest of 2500 models, which would mean sometime this fall. When it comes to the price, the current model goes around 57.000 dollars. The new one shouldn’t go far away from that.
